Professor Mike Morgan,Head of the School of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Leeds, part-time professor of Jiangsu University, visited Jiangsu University on Mar. 25-27. Prof. Mike Morgan gave an academic report entitled Use of Immunoassay in Food Safety: Development and Application of an ELISA for Amygdalin, a Cyanogenic Glycoside. Ma Haile, Dean of School of Food and Biological Engineering, made a brief introduction of Prof. Morgan’s Curriculum Vitae and major academic achievements. Some faculty members and postgraduate students of the school attended the lecture. After the presentation, discussion on inter-university cooperation was held by International Office. Two parties expressed willingness for further development. Li Zhongxing, Director of International Office hosted the meeting. Prof. Ma Haile, Dean of School of Food and Biological Engineering attended the meeting, as well as Prof Zou Xiaobo, Deputy Dean of Graduate School.
